Default 'Combining' growth rates

I have two products, which are in a reliability growth program. The customer initially wanted the two products to be kept seperated. Now he is asking that he wants the product data combined, sicne the product's use has been relaxed.

Can I simply use all the data to date as one dataset or is not that easy, (I suspect the latter)

Default Re: 'Combining' growth rates

Apologize for the late reply.

In terms of combining the data, I have a few questions:

1) Are these two systems the same with the same initial design?
2) Are they being operated in the same environment?
3) What is the management strategy as far as addressing failure modes? Are the fixes incorporated during the test or are they delayed? Have the same fixes been done on both systems?

Answers to these questions will dictate whether or not you can combine the data for both systems.
